4.5 stars By Vid Lamonte' Buggs Jr on July 15, 2015
Format: Kindle Edition  I usually do not care for romantic thrillers, however this one is the exception. I was drawn in by the main character Kort, being Native American. I mean how many times have you read a book that's main character was Native American? The whole story line of this book is great. Making Riddle hard to put down. In this book you will find suspense, romance, and even societal issues/injustices. I stop short of being more detailed due to wanting the readers to enjoy this book for their selves. I promise you RIDDLE will have you wanting more. I truly was on the edge of my seat while I wanted to figure out the ended, yet I wanted more. Kudos to Elizabeth Horton-Newton.

 A Must Read!, July 11, 2015

A mystery that gets you involved with the characters from the first introduction. Twists and turns in the story that I never saw coming kept me from putting the book down until I was I finished! I have actually read it more than once and enjoyed each reading. It is now a selection for the book club at the assisted living where I work and so I am reading it again, aloud this time and my club members never want to stop at the end of our time! We felt the same way about her first book View From The Sixth Floor An Oswald Tale and in fact we are still discussing that one. It seems Elizabeth Horton Newton gets better with each book she writes. Can't wait for the next one!

The cover of this book drew me in, and the title is a clever play-on words for the main conflict in this story. Kort and Grace are adorable together, without being too dramatic or sappy, and their relationship progresses in a natural, believable way. The author achieved something that not many have the talent to do ... she developed the supporting characters well enough to allow them to have their own side stories, not just backstories. This created several interesting subplots throughout the book, without adding fluff.

That the main male character was of Native American descent added an intriguing and refreshing element to the story. The few minor grammar glitches I stumbled upon didn't deter me from turning page after page to discover more about this exotic couple. I will definitely be seeking future works by this author.

I read this book in one setting and was wanting more. It was a true riddle and I too fell in love with Kort. The ending wasn't predictable. I thought I had it figured out and then I was really surprised. The romance is hot and steamy. I cried, laughed, and screamed at the characters. The book is so well written I felt like I was there and a part of the unfolding mystery. Great job!
